Hi there Monica,

Technology is going Wireless. This means that you don't have to connect 
through a wire to get onto a network anymore. Techgeeks are roaming the 
city with their wireless laptops, and connecting to wireless "open" 
networks. These wireless networks operate within a certain range, and if 
you find a spot where you can connect to these networks, it is polite to 
leave a chalk marking in that spot to indicate to other people where and 
how to connect.
