629-18 "Bit like the Eleven Days taken from your Calendar, isn't it? Same Questions present themselves, -Where'd that Slice of Azimuth go? How will it be redeem'd? Perhaps your five Degrees of Visto were meant to be a sort of ... Repository?"
For the eleven days, see the WASTE archives, here are a couple:

Zhang is oblivious to Mason's logic (top 630).
630-7 "And what may that slender Blade of Planetary Surface they took away, not be concealing? Shang dementedly on... he calculates this space as 11 million square miles.
He must be projecting the 21 minutes of clock time longetudinally from pole to pole - Earth: Total Surface Area: about 509,600,000 square km (197,000,000 square miles). so 197,000,000 multiplied by 21/360 is 11,426,000 Sq. Miles... close enough to 11 million for me. Zhang is calculating a much wider blade of surface than the eight feet Mason and Dixon are creating.
Zhang 630-19 "Nor ought we to be forgetting the Heavens, - as above, so below! Stars beyond numbering, Planets unsuspected, Planets harboring Life! ..."
So no longer just the 11 million sq miles of earth surface, but really projected to infinity.
OK, more coming tomorrow, but I've stolen the last 21 minutes I can for tonight... Quality time with my wife... She rented Mullholland Drive, which we haven't seen, but which I remembered everyone here liking so well...
