Actually, Doug is totally wrong.  Everything you read in the NY Times is the 
God's own truth.  Really.  God's in his heaven, the shrub is in the oval 
office, John Ashcroft is running the just-us dept. & all's right with the 
world (at least the 1st world).  Thank God I live in a free country, where 
democracy WORKS & I can worship Rudi & the firefighters along with the rest 
of the herd.  Home, sweet home in America, where the market forces provide 
plenty for all -- all who really deserve it, that is.
