fq, if you can't figure out how the current Pres. and his actions relate to
the Bush mentioned by Pynchon in Vineland, and to the politics and
historical references in Vineland, M&D, GR, and the rest of his fiction,
that's really too bad, you're missing way too much of the fun of reading
his books.
Since I'm not the list moderator, I'll refrain from commenting further on
your use of Pynchon-L to regurgitate poorly understood material from the
Joyce list, and other material of tangential relevance to Pynchon and his
works.
In case you haven't figured it out, I use NP? to mark posts that relate to
a topic that is in one of Pynchon's works or a topic that I know to be of
interest to people here on Pynchon-L, I judge this based on past Pynchon-L
discussions and private off-list communications to me from the very many
people who like the bits and pieces I occasionally post here.
But if you (or anybody else) doesn't want to read what I send along to the
group, I am glad to hear you know how to use the DELETE key on your
computer. Mine works just fine when I get tired of your bs. Meanwhile, you
still are not the list moderator.
