After hearing from a few of you off-list, I realize I owe fq and Paul (and
anybody else out there who feels slighted) an apology.  I promise, whenever
possible I'll do my best to point out the connections between current
events and Pynchon texts as best I can in future posts to Pynchon-L, so you
won't feel insulted if you don't understand.  I learn so much from you
guys, it's the least I can do, thanks.
