I would like to see links to anything you find that indicates Chirac is 

1. planning on or actually executing innocent civlians

2. destroying the civil liberties of his citizens

3.  destroying the environment of his country and jeopardizing the
environment of the world

4. turning over the assets of the country to those who contributed
heavilly to get him elected

And if you don't see how this relates to Pynchon then S H A M E    O N
