it is possible to say the ideas in the book promoted the assasintion of 
American cult heroes. but you might need to be reading it with some sort of 
"magic eye" theory in mind. and, like the magic bullet theory the magic eye 
sounds nice but not everyone buys it.

as for the conspiracy side...salinger did serve with kissinger in the 
counterintelligence corps. and hinkley sr was a world vision official, with 
possible ties to the cia and definite ties to jonestown, and was the friend 
of president bush version 1.0
all this is from the great "big book of conspiracies" put out by pardox 
press. it's like a giant comic book fulla conpiracy theories.
