I could care less who people support politically, it's a free country, but
it's worth putting in the proper perspective the claims of somebody who
would have us believe he approaches issues objectively and without partisan
bias in this forum. jbor consistentely defends Bush and his policies and
consistently attacks anybody that criticizes Bush and his policies, his
right of course but hardly an objective stance.
And you're right, the Bushboys are bad guys, from a line of same, and it's
easy to understand why Pynchon takes the time and makes the effort to name
them in his take on, to use a borrowed phrase, "fascist aesthetics."
"Brock [...] leaning darkly in above her like any of the
sleek raptors that decorate fascist architecture." (Vineland, p. 287)
