A flame war worthy of a book? Blame me if you like but
I wasn't around.

But after two or three posts I figured it out.
It's all mostly flames and bait and junk.

I asked the list to stop.
I pleaded with memebers to show some respect for
Pynchon's work, for others.....What a waste.

Can anyone say what it is I'm talking about in these
posts about the wind and words? Is it the List?
Is is this List only a distraction you can ignore if
you want to read something about Pynchon?

I've got to make the effort and so do you.

Don't get it? Just ask.

I'm not all over the road politically, but
I'm as interested in winning the fight as Doug or
Jbore or Wever or the other political hacks here to
warp my reading of a fiction to make the other guy
look like a fascist or an apologist for slavery or
some other such nonense. Jbore is a fairly good reader
of Pynchon, but he rarely says anything worth reading.
His posts are mostly summation or cliff note like
analysis or warped by his desperate and sad spitting
on Doug's dead horses.

Chow (this is how we spell it)
