Gwendolyn Alker '92 will give a lecture entitled "Quaker
Silence and Performing Postmodernity."  The lecture is part
of a dissertation project for which she has received support
from a Gest Fellowship to work in the Library's Special
Collections Department.  Gwen's visit is also the first
lecture in a series that the Library will sponsor, with the
Provost's Office and Office of External Relations, to bring
young academic alumni back to campus to share their work.
