Brotherhood of the Wolf

Saw it at Le Cinema.  Quite enjoyed it.  Atmosphere
reminiscent of all sorts of 70s Eurohorror
productions.  For anyone who might wonder just what
was up with that Hellfire Club scene in Stanley
Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut.  Myriad little period
touches (secret societies, creative taxidermy, note
referenece to Buffon).  But, you know, for a film that
ultimately champions the rationalism of Les
Philosophes, bodies never quite obey the limits of
phyiology or the laws of physics ...
