I Want The Whole Tooth And Nothing But The Tooth

I still want Doug to stay with the literal words
of the text, and describe how the tooth can be
broken if Dixon is not committing a violent act.
Describe how it is physically possible for a face
to meet a fist with enough force to break a tooth
without the fist-owner acting violently. And for this
all to be done in the context of the sentence saying
he placed his fist in the path of the face. Doug's version
makes no sense to me if the text is literally true and
taken at fistface value. All I'm asking for is a visual
image of how this scene looks in Doug's reading. How he
would direct this scene in a film so that the tooth is
broken, and Dixon is completely passive and non-violent.
