Keith, if Terrance does manage to clarify this or any other question, I'll
applaud loud enough that you'll be able to hear me all the way down there
in Lower California (assuming you're still there)...just as I applaud the
Dixon-created-by-Pynchon for freeing these slaves, as well as for heeding
his conscience and choosing to stop the cycle of violence in this instance.
