alternative oscar

         Next week we're having Oscar show.2001 wasn't great for american 
films, I think.French ,for example, made more interesting films.And even 
"Mullholland Drive" can be called french movie (it was saved by Alain Sarde 
after some TV company had stopped financing, you should never trust those, who 
work for "The Tube".) We don't know what TRP thinks about new films (he still 
doesn't work as a film critic for "Esquire").But I want to suuggest the 
following: It would be interesting if moviegoers of the list made there own 
nominations and nominees for films, connected with TRP or his works.Some people 
wrote about "Brotherhood of the Wolf". Some (myself included) about 
"Mullholland Drive". Anything else?
        I called "Mulholland Drive"   the best and the closest to TRP film of 
2001.I can't coonect with him another great movie "The man,who wasn't there" , 
so today I want to write about "Trouble every day" by Claire Denis.This French 
movie isn't closest to TRP either,but... Structurihg plot like mosaic, which 
may come together at the end ,and may be not, surreal details, strange 
chronology,the main plotline about experiments with humah behavior .All this 
brings to memory works by the great TRP. I rcommend this film , but if you 
don't like gore, think twice.So, more films of 2001 , connected with TRP?
