[Dave Monroe]

I've occasionally been picking up remaindered pbk.
copies for $4.99 on the fly at both local bookstores
and Barnes & Noble.  Not quite disposable, but easier
than always carrying one along with you.  Maybe I'll
have 'em laundered and donate 'em to a local
orphganage or something when I'm done ...

And the market is glutted with new copies of Vineland
to the point where I see the U.K. version from time to
time now as well.  Sad, but convenient nonetheless. 
Okay, gotta find time to get back to business here ...
