OK, but Dixon's belly is transitioning between the two "one day to the next" 
which causes his observers "alarm."  I don't think his merely getting fat 
would be a cause for alarm, do you?

Oh, but why NOT?  No need to be a spoil sport.

Thinking about Dixon's revolving oblate belly, I surmised that maybe he's 
about to give birth to the American sport of football!
