I think "Mullholland Drive" was great, and I regret it left the theaters
around here before I was able to see it a second time. I also love "Blue
Velvet," but I think he's surpassed that with "Mullholland Drive," at least
in the complexity of its structure.

"ET," "Close Encounters," "Empire of the Sun," (maybe even "The Color
Purple") were all very good. All of the "Jurassic Parks" sucked big time.
The first "Indiana Jones" was fun, the sequels sucked. Overall his taste
tends toward the bubble-gum, a little too pop, in the non-post-modern way.
