Adam Sandler movies seem to generate extreme reactions one way or the other
from different people, I agree. But from the few movies of his I've seen I'd
say he's as appealing as any other cinema clown of the past few decades.
_Happy Gilmore_ is a hoot. The romantic one with Drew Barrymore was quite
amusing and good-spirited in a sentimental way too. And, his determination
to restore Styx to their rightful place atop the American music pantheon in
_Big Daddy_ earns unhesitating approval from me!
