Brooklyn & Give me Liberty or Give me Decadence?

Was pleasantly surprised to stumble across a couple of
earlier references (Mackin and Keith kick it around a
little, and Edmundson's Literature against Philosophy
gets a plug as well) whilst hunting to see if I'd
posted a chunk of it somewhere.  Well worth reading. 
But, hey, if everybody worriued about what was said
before they ever arrived, er, "here," well ... well,
what's the point?  Anyone can jump in anyhwere at any
time, the conversation's always (already?) beginning,
so ... but, hey, thanks for the cannibalism stuff,
actually scared up a copy of the Barker et al., eds.
book, and have forwarded the other titles to
interested parties ...
