I think you should start with the King James Version Bible.  Spend lots of 
time there, especially the OLD Testy.  Then read GR again slowly, and get 
stoned too once in a while while reading.

But I think you should just get stoned once in a while while reading and 
forget about Pynchon 'til you feel like it.

If it don't fit don't force it.
