i found a remaindered copy of hume's "pynchon's mythography" in seattle a few years ago. 
i think it's pretty good. her book is pretty straight foward and her theses are reasonable. i admit that it did take me awhile to get into it though.
far easier to follow than say tindell's finnigan's wake reader.
