The Norwegian publishing house Gyldendal published
t h r e e Pynchon novels simultaneously on
the man's 65th birthday: the first Norwegian prints
of _V._ and _Mason & Dixon_, and the reprint of
_Katalog 49_ (orig. 1977).
For an article on the event in the Norwegian paper
"Dagbladet", see

Not totally unrelated to the above spectacle, the
Norwegian academic publishing house Novus is bringing
out [please pardon the partial self-promotion] a critical
essay collection on TRP, _Blissful Bewilderment: Studies
in the Fiction of Thomas Pynchon_, eds. Anne Mangen and
Rolf Gaasland:

A truly Northern collection, it is edited by two great
Norwegians, and the contributors come from Canada,
Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.
