Vineland & Star Wars

I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but Pynchon does mention Star Wars 
in Vineland and there are some parallels in the book to that movie--Prarie 
as Luke, off on a quest for his/her destiny.
Brock's message to her at the end of the novel that he is her real 
father--like Vader's message to Luke;
Frenesi's embrasure of the "dark side", e.g.
