SLSL Introducing the "Introduction" ...

Okay, just in from a PACKED All Hallow's Eve gig (at
which I even managed the personal triumph of 
successfully deploying "Give Him a Great Big Kiss" by
The Shangri-La's, feat. one of my favorite choruses of
all time: "I'm gonna jump right back to him/ And give
him a great big kiss--Mwah!"), and, while I'm not
QUITE ready yet, it looks nonethless like we could all
use a little distraction from business as usual here,
and maybe opening up an actual Pynchon text--one which
hasn't, I will note (again ...), 'til now received the
official full-on repeated-initial P-List
treatment--might be just the ticket.  Now, as I
recall, the "Introduction" is scheduled from today
through Saturday, November 26th, 2002, so, as I've not
had the time to stock up on posts, and as I'm still
waiting for a few items to arrive so that I can
actually make use of them, we will be Slowly Learning
Slow Learner, indeed.  Thanks to Keith and Terrance
for covering the, er, cover an the title page,
respectively ...
