Trust me, we're equally annoyed by all parties. Murthy's asked nicely
that it be dropped but you're all too wrapped up in male argument
syndrome to do so. Listen to yourself: you'd rather see the list shut
down than to see the other guy have the last word on a topic that's
all about your egos and nothing to do with Pynchon.

Rather than do that, or start an ugly precedent of kicking people off,
the list will be moderated for the next week or so. Conspiracy
theorist and people who need their SLSL fix in realtime are invited to
