That's how I saw it was meant. This goes not only for US, European,
Australian and other well-off citizens and not only the leading elite in the
Western World but the people and the elite on the other side of the Iron
Curtain and the Third World too.

And writing (in our case as readers: reading and getting informed) about it
is a strategy both to overcome the angst and the sloth.

I still think that the political statements in the "Introduction" -- in my
opinion addressed to the reader of GR -- are extremely well-written and as
important as what he has to say about storywriting.
