Gilligan's Wake

We called our Arizona Finn group Finnegans Isle because of the isomorphism 
between the castaways and the seven dancing girls in the Wake, as well as the 
seven days of the week, the seven planets in medieval astronomy, the seven 
dwarves, etc.  I realized this isomorphism while watching "Back to the Beach" 
on the date of the Energetic Harmonic Convergence (HCE), 8/16/1987, the tenth 
anniversary of Elvis's death.  Remember, Joyce thought of writing a novel of 
the sea after he finished the Wake.
