Very glad you did repost this 'cause it's obviously very signifigant, both the
SL intro comments and the Fiedler comments about flight from seriousness.

Also your post before this one on "Two Other Mighty Influences" was also very
important.

There is no doubt that these bits from the SL intro give one a big wedge into
all of his later writings, especially for me V & GR.
