The USA is not ignorant to the challanges posed by the
EU economy. That's just BS. The USA is a domestic
economy but it has the two largest trade agreements in
the world with its neighbors, Canada and Mexico. The
EU is a challange, but let's not get the cart out in
front of the horse. The EU has long way to go before
it can function like any of the major united states
economies in America (Mexico, Canada, USA, Brazil).
As usual, European leaders have found it easier to
postpone difficult decisions than face up to them at
an early stage. As a consequence, they will have to
make many of them, all at once. If they fail, some
parts of the European economy could become as
irrelevant to the global economy as Japan.
