But I'm surprised not to see McClure's claims for
Pynchon's (or DeLillo's) recommendation of what
seemingly amounts to political quietude (sort of ...)
challenged.  But, again, something offered for yr
consideration, although I didn't realize just how much
of it I ended posting.  Didn't even cover much of any
of the specifics McClure includes ...
