Write that is, without the words turning immediately
to shit on the page, or so I was drawn in to believing
(or let myself believe) that the narrator of Mr. Gaddis'
latest and last book is attempting to say, as he lay
writing, and I sat reading, at the book shop.

Unfortunately, he makes it clear, coincidentally to our
current topic of discussion, from "a swamp of ambivalence" 
that he is becoming what his book is about. Double unfortunately, 
he makes it clear, that his book is about shit, or, at least
the entropical effects of being and knowing about it.

Interesting, but the price was a little high. Maybe I'll
rent it from the library, or, wait till it comes out in
paper, and leave it lying (laying?) around when I'm done.
