You are sure of what? 
You've not stated why this story is amazing. It's not
amazing. It's a very good story for a young talent. I
wouldn't be surprized if there were students in
Pynchon's class that showed more promise and wrote
better stories than this one. I don't know because I
wasn't there. How is it that you are so sure about
what P's teachers thought of this story?
