I think that "Nathan of Gaza" also fits many attributes
of the Lardass (symbollically, at any rate), especially
in his mystical interpretation of the creation, and, the
origin of evil. Gershom Scholem provides an interesting
analysis of same. I'll try to post a bit of that later.
