Slow Learner - sign up

Fair enough. I'm amenable, but, having not reread
much past the introduction since SL was first
published, not sure what I'd like to take on.
"Entropy," most likely, but I'll take up the
"Introduction" if no one else will, if only to get us
rolling. But I'd esp. recommend multiple hosts, or
increased participation, at any rate, as otherwise
individuals will almost of necessity be covering
entire texts "in and of themselves," rather than
slivers thereof (if only we could have had every ch.
of M&D taken up by a different host, plenty to go
around). We seem most productive here when civilly
pluralist, so ...

Grumble if y'all will, but SL really SHOULD be covered
here, and it can be done quickly enough to move
briskly on to Vineland, if we so desire. I could even
see tightening this up a bit, a week/ten days per
segment, but ... but, ideally, those stories should
generate all sorts of discussion, say, along the lines
of, continuities from the early fiction through M&D,
or, conversely, discontinuities. Seriously, people,
let's take this up as offered (though do note US
Thanksgiving interruption [for some, at any rate]
during "The Small Rain") ...
