Hi Joseph,
sign-up is for hosting that section of the book, but to find out what
'hosting' entails you'll have to wander back through the archives and work
it out. There aren't really any rules, and I think that turns out to be a
good thing.
Hi everyone else,
I don't really care if we do SL or Vineland, as long as we get those few
weeks off first. In a way, doing SL might be better for those not quite
ready for a whole new book, as they (I mean we) can drop off for a story or
two if need be. I won't be hosting one as I don't really have much to say
about the short stories, though I'd love to do one of the non-fiction
pieces, but that might stretch out the read a bit long.
If we are doing SL, is Mortality &... on the reading list? Should it be?
Pynchon didn't want it in the short story collection, but then, if he wants
to complain he knows where to find us. Hang about, there's someone at the
door...
