How reassuring to stumble back into the pub after what--two years?--and find
the same cast of characters, the same surly arguments, the same disingenuous
tactical disguises, the same passionately earnest rhetoric. Talk about Slow
Learners. And, what, here's my pint o Bass, right on the bar where I left
it.

I love this list. This is the United States Senate of lists.

The short stories, please. I'll be there for the short stories. Suits my
attention span.
