I got an idea!  A-and it's tres, tres Pynchonian.  jbor can fight a duel with 
Doug.  No, Listen, it could work!  They could pick a spot.  Barbara & 
Terrance (dressed in drag, no doubt, as Monica or Cathy Ramirez, who knows) 
could be seconds.  Swords or pistols at ten paces, somewhere in oh, say, 
Mississippi or San Francisco.  I like it.  Can we run with it?  
Oh, that's right! it would be illegal.  Damn!  And not at all post-modern.  
Pre-modern, I guess.

Still, I do like the idea of Saddam & George doing something like that.  I'm 
serious.  Maybe they could use anti-tank rockets.  That way they would both 
die.  Then Cheney would be president.  Oh, God!  That would be worse.
