Brown's paradoxical and mysterious union of opposites.

God is hidden under his own opposite, deus absconditus
sub contrario; as incarnate, as God in the shape of a
Man; most hidden when most there. Symbolism is this
Paradoxical coming-together of the Sacred and Profane;
it is a conincidentia oppositorum, the true cross.
"Every hierophany shows, makes manifest, the
coexistance of contradictory essences; sacred and
profane, spirit and matter, eternal and non-eternal."
There is this sacrament, this incarnation, wherever
there is meaning; in every sentence "the transfer and
communicatio idiomatum of the mental and the material,
of extension and sense, of body and thought"; langauge
is a sacrament, a mysterious union of opposites in
concrete form.

O' Flaherty, Unity and Language.39

If only more intellectuals and white shirts working
for the Military Industral Complex stumbled into stall
and took that trip down the bowl to the Underworld.

The revolution is from Below, the lower classes, the
Underworld, the damned, the disruptable, the despised
and rejected. Freud's revolutionary motto in The
Interpretation of Dreams: Flectere si nequeo Superso
Acherunta movebo, If I can not bend the higher powers,
I will stir up the lower depths. Freud's discovery:
the universal Underworld.
