What do you expect from a demonstration? That Bush-Cheney says: "Oh, I see
I've made a mistake to focus on the warpath."
In my opinion the only chance for America to return to democracy (given the
latest decision on Bush's "Ermächtigungsgesetz") is a third party to have an
alternative. The arrogant reactions from the American government and
mainstream media to Mr. Schröder's decision (which represents truly the
opinion of the majority of the Germans) show that the US still has to learn
that allies & friends are no subordinates.
I've read the Salon-article Tim has posted and I agree to Pete Stark:
"The bottom line is I don't trust this president and his advisors"

It's all about the oil and hegemony and I'm not happy at all that the world
seems to be governed by the American industry. War may be good for American
business but would ruin our economy which depends on exports and political
stability.
We're still waiting that the American government fulfils its promise to
"smoke them out, hunt them down and bring them to justice" -- not to invent
new targets whose connections to the terror network cannot be proven.
