That's the myth your masters would have you believe! All very poetic but utterly
inappropriate, given the internal stresses and differing interests which make up
your (and every other) nation.
Nations/empires, unlike rockets, do not have a singular trajectory. Brenschluss
is a stretched out period where some processes are still growing and others are
on the decline.
The U.S. entered that phase when the Soviet Union collapsed, as sole superpower
it now has nowhere to go but out and down. Its lords and masters will assert
their sovereignity over as much of the world as possible in order to secure its
home security, but security comes from trust not dominance and eventually they
will overstretch themselves and then the enemies they has created along the way
will feed on the tired old body which is all that will be left of their nation.
