To acknowlege that politicians, rich people and corporate leaders "work to
further their own monetary & power interests, often in a conspiratorial manner"
is vastly different that believing in a vast and widely unified conspiracy
theory such as some believe is embodied by the illuminati.

"on June 17, 1782, Thomas Jefferson was suddenly approached by a "being",
cloaked in black. The "being" allegedly presented Jefferson with a red velvet
bag which contained two plaques. Turning around, the "being" walked into
Jefferson's garden and mysteriously vanished. The two plaques that were in the
red velvet bag were the two Great Seals of the United States."

otherwise is to believe in "Coincidence Theory" (a truly nutty idea that the
interests of the very wealthy are magically maintained by chance, year after
year without any planning); or "Aberration Theory" (the
blind-to-historical-reality-notion that dirty CIA tricks are atypical
departures from the norm); or "Stupidity Theory" (the irrational idea that the
very wealthy and their minions stupidly & repeatedly bumble their way into
maintaining world domination, never "planning" or using forethought); or
"Somnambulist Theory" (the illogical view that world dominators sleepwalk
through life without ever thinking of their vast wealth & how to keep it); or
"Idiosyncrasy Theory" (the unthinking theory that "stuff just happens" in a way
that furthers the interests of oil companies & other powerful folks—& that
somehow it "just happens" the exact same way again & again over a long period
of time.)
