NP?: Bush/Saddam/Pynchon

Question AGAIN:  will someone take a moment to explain to me please where all 
the regular Pynchon people have gone and why they seem to have been replaced 
by new entitities who send bizarre posts and DON'T talk about Pynchon, 
literature, religion, or politics with anything akin to the insight and 
elegance that the old Pynchon-L crowd did?  What am I missing?  Was there a 
general defection and I wasn't invited?  Where was Barbara's party?
