Pynchon's children Re: "Your children are not safe, anywhere at anytime."

Good point, re Ludwig and Bianca. As I posted that
Michael Moore piece (and I'm glad to hear, offlist,
that so many of you appreciated seeing it on
Pynchon-L) I was thinking of the kids in Vineland. P
also seems to show a tender side when writing about
the ghostly girl that Slothrop dances with in GR, as
well as Pokler's "daughters." M&D shows a lot of
insight into the plight of Mason's children, too, and
to Mason's experience as a child.
