It's not clear that the US military wants a war without a clear
and winnable objective. It's becoming clear that Mr. Bush's
rhetoric has disaggregated our allies and aggregated our
enemies. It may be important to leave Mr. Bush plenty of room
to back away from his rhetoric without losing face since the
consequences for civilian populations may be severe. Perhaps
Mr. Bush has imagined himself to be strutting about the world
stage issuing demands and delivering threats and getting
nothing but catcalls from the audience with one particularly
obnoxious gesture from North Korea. This guy loses much more
credibility we're all going to be in trouble.
Stay home. Smoke a joint and listen to NPR drone on and on.
Facts? Check out what Bush and Cheney did to the companies they ran.
