Of course what's really pathetic, is the possibility
that Bush & Co. have cooked up this entire,
must-make-was-on-Iraq-NOW! (which emerged all of a
sudden last month -- not announced in August because
"you don't introduce new products in August" according
to Andrew Card, and what a card that guy is, talking
about launching a war and all the suffering a war
entails using the same terms you'd use to launch a new
brand of toilet paper) program as an electoral
strategy, to help his political allies in the mid-term
elections next month, without even the excuse of
bloodthirsty, megalomanic, misguided empire-building
(take up that white man's burden, yeah!) to explain
his actions -- just another crooked politician doing
what he can to keep his fellow back-scratchers in
office, keep the graft rolling in, the bag men busy,
the profits tumbling into the family trust from
investments in weapon systems and oil...
