Criteria differ for such designations.  As the official bestower of the 
"asshole," I want all to know that it is not an easy mark to acheive.  It 
takes a constant effort, if not in odor then in volume and other forms of 
generally unpleasant discharge

You must exhibit a certain level of bravery.  But that is an easy thing to 
do on the internet, so take heart.  The hazing will be brutal, but fun if 
you're so inclined...
