Yes, Doug's verse shows promise. Hope it's the harbinger of a new Doug. 
I've been very negative toward him lately, which believe it or not give 
me less and less pleasure as time goes by.

Even before the versification began he seemed to have dropped a little 
of the santimonious goody-two-shoes tone that had in the past been so 
annoying. I prefer the slightly vicious Doug. Not really vicious because 
this is only the p-list.
