A-and let us not forget, while we're at it, some Extra
Special Pynchon-List Gratitude to Robert for not
infrequently to quite regularly taking up the baton
when others weren't quite up to running a lap or two, 
myself, again, conspicuously included, and thus
placing us now within, er, eyeshot of the finishing
line.  If I seem to be ignoring the rest of you
alongside/surpassing me @ this moment, it's only
because I'm trying to maintain what little focus I'm
capable of in these last two days of my last hosting
stint of the novel.  And I've already gotten ahead of
myself, tripping over my own feet, so ...
