of course take exception to a minor point. You can make all the siderial
calculations you want, but if the LEGAL drinking age in Massachusetts for
politically connected Harvard students, or complete vagabonds for that
matter, is part of your calculation, you are culturally inept. Irish J1ers
from farms in Cork are drinking in Harvard Square with ID's produced on
mimeograph machines today. The legal drinking age for a pal of Joseph
Kennedy's son in the 1930's, such as Tyrone Slothrop, would be "old enough
to order without slurring too much or causing a fight". I suggest you
recalculate.
