The question is fundamental:  Who fricken cares about, about, about, about 
what Pynchon is up to?  The reason I wonder is simple:  is it new? (modern) 
*OR*  is it POMO (not)?  O-OR (do you propose another, sir?)?"  Does anybody 
care?
